The achievement sparked massive celebrations among Arsenal supporters and players across north London, with reports suggesting some members of the squad remained at the Emirates Stadium until the early hours of the morning following the title triumph.
Beyond the historic success on the pitch, Arsenal are also expected to earn the biggest Premier League payment in the club’s history.
According to reports by The Evening Standard, the Premier League distributes central revenue payments to clubs based on their final league positions through a merit-based structure.
Under the arrangement, the league champions receive 20 times the base merit payment, while the second-placed team receives 19 times the amount. The figures decrease gradually down to the club that finishes bottom of the table.
Last season, each league position was reportedly valued at around £2.6 million.
Liverpool, who won the title last season, reportedly received about £53.1 million in merit payments alone, while Southampton, who finished 20th, earned approximately £2.6 million.
With Arsenal now confirmed as champions, the North London club are expected to receive a similar amount, setting a new record for Premier League earnings in the club’s history.
The financial reward will further boost the club’s commercial income and broadcasting revenues following a remarkable campaign.
The title victory also represents a major achievement for Arteta, who has transformed Arsenal into one of Europe’s leading teams after years of rebuilding.
Before winning the title this season, Arsenal had finished runners-up in each of the previous three Premier League campaigns.
The Gunners will conclude their title-winning season on Sunday with an away fixture against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

Crystal Palace are expected to give Arsenal a traditional guard of honour before kick-off, while captain Martin Odegaard is set to lift the Premier League trophy after the match.
