Bala Mohammed, the Governor of Bauchi State and chairman of the PDP Governors’ Forum, has commended PDP leaders in Delta State for their loyalty to the party and for choosing not to defect.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the praise came after a group of influential Delta PDP members, led by Chief Edwin Olley and Dr. Michael Tidi, rejected the recent defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC) by Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.

Mohammed hosted the delegation and commended their courage and strong loyalty to the PDP. He referred to them as “true party men” who have significantly contributed to the PDP’s success in Delta and throughout Nigeria.

The Bauchi governor described their decision as a sign of ideological consistency and labeled the PDP as the “party of the moment.”
In their response, the Delta leaders commended Governor Mohammed’s leadership, calling him a “stabilizing pillar” for the party.
They also appealed for his continued support to help rebuild the PDP in Delta State, noting that the state has always been a key stronghold for the party.
