In a scathing Instagram post, Bobrisky recalled his own harrowing experience with the EFCC, accusing its operatives of harassment and mistreatment during his detention last year.

He claimed that the EFCC officials falsely accused him of money laundering and subjected him to an invasive search of his house.
“I don’t like reading anything about EFCC online, because I feel sick every time I do. You’re asking for sympathy over the loss of your staff, but you’re the most wicked people in Nigeria,” Bobrisky wrote.

The crossdresser described how, during his custody, EFCC officials took him to his home, searched his property, and interrogated him about money laundering. He also recounted how they tried to coerce him into implicating others, including refusing to provide a phone number for a certain individual, despite not being in contact with them.

Bobrisky further accused the EFCC of invading his privacy by seizing his phone for a week and going through his emails and WhatsApp messages without finding any evidence of fraud. “You tried everything to stop me, but the girl keeps moving higher,” he added, emphasizing his resilience despite the ordeal.
