BREAKING: UNIZIK Expels TikToker-Student for Assaulting Lecturer

The management of Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) has expelled a student, identified as Chimamaka, over an alleged assault on a lecturer.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that in an expulsion letter dated Thursday, February 13, 2025, the Acting Registrar, Victor Modebelu, confirmed the decision, stating that the university’s Acting Vice-Chancellor acted upon the recommendation of the Student Disciplinary Committee.

The disciplinary panel found Chimamaka guilty of gross misconduct and violating the Students’ Disciplinary Regulations, specifically Regulation 4.

“The Ag. Vice-Chancellor, consequently, on behalf of the University Senate, approved the Committee’s recommendation that you be expelled and you are hereby expelled from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka,” the expulsion letter stated.
