Chief Bakare Applauds Rep. Wale Raji’s Leadership, Commissions New Classroom Blocks in Epe

Renowned industrialist and community leader, Chief S.O. Bakare, Babalaje of Ijebu land, has commended the commitment of Hon. Wale Raji, the lawmaker representing Epe Federal Constituency, to the development of the region.
Ekohotblog reports that in a speech presented by his daughter, Mrs Remi Odunsi at the commissioning of newly constructed classroom blocks, Chief Bakare lauded Raji’s transformative impact on education, market infrastructure, and overall commercial growth within the constituency.

The Babalaje of Ijebuland highlighted Raji’s role in facilitating the upgrade of local markets, promoting trade, and ensuring economic sustainability for business owners in Epe.
He also praised the lawmaker for making history as the first representative from the constituency to secure an unopposed third-term tenure in the House of Representatives.
“Your exceptional performance has earned you the trust of our traditional rulers, elders, men, women, and youths,” Bakare stated.
“You made my task easier and made me proud. Those of us who supported your candidacy from the beginning have no regrets. Indeed, you are a son in whom I am well pleased.”
In his concluding remarks, Chief Bakare called on other political office-holders in Lagos State to emulate Raji’s dedication to community service, emphasizing the importance of legacy in governance.
“At the end of your tenure, what will matter is the impact you have made the infrastructure you built and the lives you transformed,” he said.
“East or West, home is best. I hope other leaders will learn from your example of selfless service to the people.”
He further assured Rep. Raji of continued prayers and support, expressing optimism that his leadership journey had only just begun.
Following his remarks, Chief Bakare represented by his daughter Mrs Remi officially commissioned the newly constructed classroom blocks, dedicating them to the glory of God and the advancement of education in the community.
The event was attended by traditional rulers, government officials, education stakeholders, and community members who also applauded Raji’s relentless efforts in improving educational infrastructure in Epe.
In his response, Rep. Wale Raji assured the people of his continuous commitment to prioritizing education and youth development in Epe.
