A notorious bandit commander, Kachalla Sani Yellow, has been killed during a security operation in Anka Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
Eko Hot Blog reports that Yellow, who was reportedly responsible for coordinating several attacks along the Anka–Bagega Road, was killed during an armed confrontation involving the Maiduguri Special Vigilantes, who were supporting ongoing counter-banditry operations in the area.

The operation is part of intensified security efforts across the Anka, Bagega and Gummi axis, where security forces, working alongside local vigilante groups, have recorded a series of successes against armed bandit groups in recent days.
Security sources said the latest development is expected to strengthen ongoing efforts to curb banditry and improve security across affected communities in Zamfara State.
