Cristiano Ronaldo Jr., the son of football legend Cristiano Ronaldo, could be eligible to represent as many as five countries at international level, according to a report by sports outlet 433.
The 14-year-old, who has impressed in youth football, qualifies for multiple national teams through a mix of birthplace, heritage, and residency.
He is eligible for Portugal through his father, while his birth in the United States gives him the right to represent the US. His early years in Spain during Ronaldo’s time at Real Madrid also open the door to the Spanish national team.
Having spent more than five years in England during his father’s spells at Manchester United, he could also qualify for the English national team.
