The Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in charge of Kajola Police Station, located in Odigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State, CSP Nimrod Anaka, has been confirmed dead.
His sudden passing was confirmed by the spokesperson of the Ondo State Police Command, SP Ayanlade Olushola, on Wednesday.

According to the Command, the senior officer reportedly took ill without prior signs and passed away while being rushed to the hospital on Tuesday for urgent medical attention.

Olushola, while speaking on the incident, stated:
“I can confirm that the DPO, CSP Anaka, is dead. However, it is the responsibility of medical experts to determine the actual cause of his death.”
He further added that details such as the officer’s age and state of origin would be released to the public at a later date.
The news of the DPO’s death has thrown officers at the Kajola Police Station into deep mourning, as many described his sudden passing as shocking and painful.
