Emir Sanusi II Arrives Lagos
Wives, children, friends and well wishers, have welcomed the former Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II as he arrived at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos late Friday night.
His departure from Nasarawa came after Justice Anwuli Chikere of a federal high court in Abuja declared granted an interim order releasing him from his “detention” in Awe, Nasarawa.
The former Governor the Central Bank of Nigeria, departed the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja (NAIA) at about 10:30 p.m in a private jet belonging to Quits Aviation.

The private aircraft has the registration number, N5500JF.
He left the Quits Aviation Terminal at 12:17 am in a convoy of over 10 vehicles.
Recall that the Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai in a statement had revealed that the former Emir of Kano will be leaving Abuja for Lagos State, which had been his preferred destination since he was dethroned.
