Epe Club Distributes Food to Fasting Muslims, Calls for Unity Among Communities
- Epe Club shares food items with fasting Muslims during Ramadan.

- Religious leaders urge continued support beyond Ramadan.
Epe Club, one of the top social group in Epe Division, recently gave out food boxes to Muslims during the holy month of Ramadan.
Ekohotblog reports that the food was shared at several mosques, including Itaopo Central Mosque, Tafsir Mosque at Bado-Isale, and Okemagba Central Mosque.

Representatives of the club, Mr. Sanuth and Mr. Taiwo, said the food sharing was their own way of contributing their quota to the people of Epe. “This is something we’ve always done, and we will keep doing more as the year goes on,” Mr. Sanuth explained. “Our goal is to support our people, especially during important times like Ramadan.”
At Okemagba Central Mosque, the Chief Imam, Sheikh Hammed Saliu, thanked the club for their kindness. But he also spoke about a problem in the area—the division between the Ijebu-Epe and Eko-Epe communities. He said this has slowed down progress in Epe.
“This problem is holding us back,” he said. “Epe Club brings both sides together, and they should help us unite. We cannot grow if we stay divided. Ikorodu used to be under Epe, but they moved ahead because we were not united.”
He urged the club to lead efforts to bring peace and unity to Epe. “Now is the time to come together for the good of everyone,” he added.

At Tafsir Mosque, Sheikh Muyideen Balogun welcomed the Epe Club team warmly. He prayed for the club’s success and thanked them for helping. He also met with them at Itaopo Central Mosque and asked the club to keep helping even after Ramadan.
“This is a good thing, and I pray God helps you to continue,” Sheikh Balogun said. “Let this not stop with Ramadan.”
