The Executive Chairman of Epe Local Government, Hon. Princess Surah Olayemi Animashaun, has felicitated with the Muslim Ummah in Epe and beyond on the occasion of Eid-el-Maulud, commemorating the birth of the Noble Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).
Eko Hot Blog reports that in her goodwill message, Princess Animashaun described the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) as an enduring example of compassion, sacrifice, patience, humility, peaceful coexistence and devotion to Allah.
She urged Muslims to reflect on these virtues and allow them to guide their relationships with one another and contribute to peace and unity within the community.
“The life and teachings of the Holy Prophet (SAW) remain an enduring example of compassion, sacrifice, patience, peaceful coexistence, humility, and devotion to Allah,” she said.
The council chairman prayed that Allah would accept the prayers of the faithful, forgive their shortcomings and bless their families with peace, good health, prosperity and abundant blessings.
“May this special occasion inspire us to embrace these virtues and strengthen the bonds of love, unity, and mutual respect among us,” she added.
Princess Animashaun also called on residents to continue supporting the development of Epe Local Government through prayers, cooperation and constructive partnership.
She expressed optimism that collective commitment and shared purpose would contribute to building an Epe that reflects progress, inclusiveness and sustainable development.

The chairman further prayed for divine guidance for leaders and protection for communities, while wishing the Muslim Ummah a peaceful and meaningful Eid-el-Maulud celebration.
