The Eredo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), under the leadership of Hon. Ismail Monsuru Akinloy, has urged parents and guardians to ensure that their children resume school within the first week of the new academic session.

Eko Hot Blog reports that the appeal is part of the council’s Back-to-School Initiative aimed at supporting pupils enrolled in the 19 public primary schools across Eredo LCDA.
The council, in a message to parents, emphasised the importance of early resumption, noting that government programmes and opportunities are often time-sensitive.
“Government opportunities are often time-sensitive and should not be taken for granted,” the council stated.
Parents whose children are enrolled in any of the 19 public primary schools across Eredo LCDA were encouraged to ensure that their children are present within the first week of the new academic session.
The council explained that early resumption would enable pupils to benefit fully from the opportunities and support available under the Back-to-School Initiative.
“Early resumption is important to ensure that every child is present to benefit fully from the opportunities and support provided through the Eredo LCDA Back-to-School Initiative,” it stated.
The administration also called for cooperation between parents, schools and the council to ensure that pupils have a smooth and productive start to the academic session.
“Let us work together to give our children the best possible start to the new academic session,” the council added.
The initiative reflects the administration’s continued focus on supporting education and creating opportunities that can improve the learning experience of children across Eredo LCDA.
