Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has approved the appointment of Mrs Oluwakemi Amudat Adedeji as a Permanent Secretary in the state’s civil service.
Eko Hot Blog reports that Mrs Adedeji, currently the Director of Administration and Human Resources in the Ministry of Economic Planning and Budget, was among nine senior officers elevated to the top cadre of the state bureaucracy.

She is also the Board of Trustees (BOT) Chairman of the Epe Division Professional Women Association, a respected women-led group in Lagos.
The appointments were announced through a circular signed by the Head of Service, Mr Bode Agoro, dated 23 September 2025, with reference number CIR/HOS/’25/Vol.I/069. The letter, addressed to senior state officials including the Deputy Governor, the Speaker of the House of Assembly, the Chief Judge, Commissioners and Local Government Chairpersons, stated that the appointments were made to “reinvigorate the state’s policy implementation apparatus” and strengthen public service delivery.
