Despite dominating early possession, Arsenal fell behind after 25 minutes when Son Heung-min’s deflected shot off William Saliba wrong-footed keeper David Raya to give Spurs an unexpected lead.
Arsenal rallied and equalized five minutes before halftime when Declan Rice’s corner led to a mix-up, with Gabriel’s header ultimately deflecting off Dominic Solanke for an own goal.
The Gunners quickly turned the tide four minutes later when Leandro Trossard’s low, bouncing strike beat Spurs keeper Antonin Kinsky, who should have done better to prevent the goal.

Mikel Arteta’s side controlled the second half but lacked the sharpness to secure a more convincing margin. In the dying moments, they nearly conceded an equalizer when Pedro Porro struck the outside of the post from a tight angle.
The victory keeps Arsenal firmly in the title race, though their finishing remains an area to improve as they chase Liverpool’s lead.
