The Federation of Epe Division Students’ Association (FEDSA) National Executive Council has commended the Executive Chairman of Eredo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Monsuru Akinloye Ismail, for his visionary and people-focused leadership, especially in the areas of educational development and youth empowerment.
Ekohotblog reports that in a statement released on Thursday, the student body described Hon. Akinloye as a trailblazer whose administration has made significant strides in improving access to quality education and empowering the youth across Eredo LCDA.

“Hon. Monsuru Akinloye is not just investing in infrastructure; he is investing in the future of Eredo,” said Comrade Ibrahim Adefemi, National President of FEDSA. “His administration’s dedication to student welfare and development is exemplary, and we believe these efforts will resonate for generations.”
Among the projects highlighted by FEDSA are:
- ₦50,000 Bursary Awards disbursed to 100 indigent students, offering much-needed financial support for academic pursuits.
- Construction of modern school facilities across communities in Eredo LCDA, including:
- A block of 6 classrooms, principal’s office, staff room, and toilet at Odomola Junior Secondary School
- A block of 6 classrooms, head teacher’s office, and toilet at UPE Primary School, Ajegbende (Odo-Egiri)
- A block of 3 classrooms and head teacher’s office at UPE Primary School, Odogbawojo
- Distribution of over 500 GCE & JAMB forms to underprivileged students to ease their access to tertiary education.
- Provision of educational materials, such as school bags and writing tools, to public primary school pupils.
- Youth empowerment programs designed to equip young people with leadership skills, vocational training, and entrepreneurial opportunities.
“These projects are not just policies on paper — they are living testimonies of a government that genuinely cares,” said FEDSA’s Secretary-General, Miss Aminat Shobowale.

“From school renovations to academic support and empowerment programs, Hon. Akinloye has shown what purposeful leadership truly looks like.”
The students’ association also noted that the Chairman’s initiatives are not only beneficial in the immediate term but are also building a sustainable foundation for a better-educated and self-reliant population.
In response to the commendation, Hon. Monsuru Akinloye expressed appreciation for the students’ recognition.
