Nollywood star and filmmaker, Funke Akindele, has once again dominated the box office as her latest movie, Behind The Scenes, raked in over ₦200 million during its opening weekend.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the film, distributed by FilmOne Entertainment, achieved the feat within days of its nationwide cinema release, making it the biggest opening weekend of 2025 so far.

FilmOne described the movie as a multiple record-breaker, noting that it is the first Nollywood title this year to cross the ₦200 million mark on opening weekend, while also recording the highest admissions within the same period.
