EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Turkish champions already made a record move to sign Osimhen permanently in a €75 million deal after his loan spell, the highest transfer fee in Turkish football history.
The 27-year-old has justified the investment with standout performances, helping Galatasaray secure another Super Lig title and playing a key role in their UEFA Champions League campaign.
His form has attracted renewed attention across Europe, with Atlético Madrid reportedly seeing a €120 million offer rejected as Galatasaray insist he is not for sale.
To further secure his future, Galatasaray are reportedly considering making Osimhen club captain ahead of the 2026/27 season. The move would position him at the centre of the club’s long-term project.
Head coach Okan Buruk is said to fully support the idea, praising Osimhen’s leadership qualities and influence in the dressing room.
The plan is also linked to the future of current captain Mauro Icardi, who could leave the club. Osimhen may also inherit the iconic No. 9 shirt.
Manchester United are among the leading clubs interested, with reports suggesting a potential bid between £110 million and £130 million. New manager Michael Carrick reportedly sees Osimhen as a key attacking target.
Arsenal are also monitoring the striker closely, with sporting director Andrea Berta said to have held discussions with Galatasaray over a possible deal worth around €130 million.
Chelsea are also admirers but are taking a more cautious approach.

Osimhen currently earns €15 million annually, making him the highest-paid player in Turkish football as Galatasaray aim to build their future around him despite growing transfer pressure.
