Troops of Operation Enduring Peace have rescued two kidnapped victims during separate operations in Plateau State.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the Joint Task Force disclosed this in a statement, saying the operations were carried out as troops intensified efforts to deny terrorists and other criminal elements freedom of action across the state.

According to the statement, troops of Sector 3, deployed in Bassa Local Government Area, rescued Ndubuisi Onuigbo on Tuesday after acting on credible intelligence about his abduction.
In a separate operation, troops of Sector 2 encountered suspected terrorists during a fighting patrol in Kukawa Village, Kanam Local Government Area, in the early hours of Wednesday.
The troops reportedly pursued the fleeing suspects, leading to the rescue of another kidnap victim, Mallam Sambo Abdullahi, who had been abandoned by his captors.
The two victims were subsequently debriefed and reunited with their families.
