Zainab Buhari, a mother of four, has taken her husband, Babangida Ibrahim, to a Sharia Court in Rigasa, Kaduna, Kaduna State, accusing him of subjecting her to degrading treatment.
Eko Hot Blog reports that Zainab informed the court that her husband frequently beats her and neglects to provide food for her and their children.

“He grabs my neck to suffocate me, squeezes my breast hard and demand for s3x
“I take care of our children’s school fees, feeding, clothing and other needs.
“Whenever I run to my parents, they begs me to return to my matrimonial home,” she said.
The defendant denied all the accusations made against him.
The judge, Malam Salisu Abubakar Tureta, instructed Zainab to bring her witnesses to court.
He then adjourned the case for further hearing.
