- Anomo receives Doctorate Fellowship and leadership award from Ghana-based institute

The Executive Chairman of Ikosi–Ejinrin Local Council Development Area, Akogun Wale Raji Anomo, has been honoured with a Doctorate Fellowship and an Excellent Leadership Award in Good Governance by the Chartered Institute of Public Resources Management and Politics, Ghana.
Eko Hot Blog reports that he conferment ceremony, held at the Ikosi–Ejinrin LCDA Secretariat in Agbowa, drew the presence of top officials of the Institute, council executives, and key stakeholders within the community.
Leading the delegation was the Institute’s Vice President in charge of Educational Training, Prof. Babatunde Akinsanya, accompanied by Dr. Sey Phillips, Executive Director, Public Affairs, and Mrs. Victoria Ijeoma, Head of Correspondence.
According to the Institute, the honour was conferred in recognition of Anomo’s exemplary leadership, dedication to good governance, and impactful contributions to grassroots development in Ikosi–Ejinrin LCDA.
In his acceptance speech, the council chairman dedicated the award to the people of the LCDA, reaffirming his commitment to service.
“This recognition is for the good people of Ikosi–Ejinrin LCDA. It will further motivate us to deliver more dividends of democracy and continue to serve with dedication and integrity,” Anomo stated.
He also expressed appreciation to the Institute for finding him worthy of the honour, describing it as a call to do more in advancing development at the grassroots level.
The ceremony was attended by notable dignitaries, including the Vice Chairman, Alhaji Wasiu Dehinsilu; Secretary to the Local Government, Hon. Anjorin Lookman; the Council Manager, Mr. Sunday Awobajo; Supervisor for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Hon. Adekoya Taye; and Supervisor for Revenue, Transport and Market Affairs, Hon. Adesanya Adedotun, among others.
The event highlighted the growing recognition of local government leadership in driving sustainable development and good governance at the grassroots.
