“All areas of the country will shift to full activity” from 8:00 pm (1700 GMT) on Tuesday, according to a statement issued by the military on the orders of Defence Minister Israel Katz. The new guidelines will remain in effect until Thursday evening when they will be reviewed.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that Israel’s airport authority also confirmed the full resumption of all flights to and from the country. The transport ministry revealed that between 100,000 and 150,000 Israelis were stranded abroad after Israel closed its airspace following the massive bombing campaign against Iran that began on June 13. Tens of thousands have since returned home via air and sea.
The country had operated under strict restrictions since the war started, with schools closed and non-essential businesses suspended.
Both Israel and Iran confirmed on Tuesday that they would honour the ceasefire brokered by US President Donald Trump. Israel said it had achieved all its military objectives, while Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian stated that Iran would respect the ceasefire if Israel did the same.
Despite the agreement, tensions remained high. Israeli forces had launched extensive strikes on Iranian military, nuclear facilities, and high-ranking officials, which triggered heavy retaliatory missile attacks from Iran.

The Israeli military has not fully disclosed the extent of damage due to strict censorship rules, but it has confirmed at least 50 missile impacts across the country. The official death toll in Israel currently stands at 28.
Meanwhile, emergency services reported that four people were killed in Beersheba on Tuesday in a missile attack launched by Iran shortly before the ceasefire took effect.
