EKO HOT BLOG reports that Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that he does not talk to Eden Hazard frequently, but insisted that their relationship is not “cold.” Hazard had recently stated that he is no longer on speaking terms with Ancelotti.
However, Ancelotti has denied any notion of ignoring players in his squad and clarified that Hazard is merely a victim of stiff competition for places.

Speaking ahead of the Champions League last-16 second leg against Liverpool on Wednesday, Ancelotti said, “The relationship is not cold. Look, you have to appreciate both things: Hazard has been honest because I don’t talk to him much, it’s the truth.”
He further added that talking to players is a matter of personal comfort and character. “Talking is a question of character, you feel more comfortable with some people than with others,” Ancelotti stated.
In a recent interview, Eden Hazard confirms not being on speaking terms with Carlo Ancelotti but maintains there is a level of respect and admiration between player and coach.
Hazard has struggled to find his form since joining Real Madrid from Chelsea in 2019 for a reported fee of €100 million. The Belgian forward has been plagued with injuries during his time in Spain and has scored just three goals in 35 appearances for Real Madrid.

Real Madrid, who are currently second in the La Liga table, will face Liverpool in the second leg of their Champions League last-16 tie at Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday.
