The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has released the results of candidates who sat for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination on Friday, April 17 and Saturday, April 18.
In a statement issued on Sunday by its spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, Eko Hot Blog reports that the board confirmed that a total of 1,264,940 results from the two days have been processed and are now accessible to candidates.

According to the board, this follows an earlier release of 632,752 results for candidates who wrote the examination on Thursday, April 16.
With the latest update, the total number of results released so far has risen to 1,897,692.

Candidates have been advised to check their results using the official SMS method. They are required to send “UTMERESULT” to 55019 or 66019 using the same phone number used during registration.
The board explained that the released results cover the first three days of the nationwide examination, which began on Thursday.
The exercise is expected to involve over two million candidates across various computer based test centres nationwide.
