Dangote Refinery has announced a fresh increase in the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), raising its gantry price from ₦1,175 to ₦1,245 per litre.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the new price, which represents an increase of ₦70 per litre, is set to take effect from 12:00 a.m. on March 21, 2026, and will apply to all outstanding and yet-to-be-loaded orders.

In addition to the gantry adjustment, the refinery also raised its coastal supply price from ₦1,512,648 to ₦1,606,518 per metric tonne, reflecting broader cost pressures in the market.
The company attributed the price review to ongoing global geopolitical tensions, which continue to impact energy supply chains and pricing worldwide.

Despite the increase, the refinery noted that customers with valid Bank Guarantees can continue lifting products under existing arrangements, provided they pay the price difference.
The adjustment is expected to have ripple effects across the downstream sector, potentially influencing pump prices in the coming days.
