JUST IN: Two Soldiers, One Civilian Die In Lagos Autocrash

Two soldiers and a civilian have been killed in an accident at the Obadeyi area of Lagos

EKO HOT BLOG reports that two male soldiers with the Nigerian Army and a female civilian have lost their lives to an autocrash which occurred at Obadeyi, along Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway, Lagos State, in the early hours of Friday.

 

According to reports, the deceased were riding in a saloon car with the license plate RNG396AA when a truck traveling against traffic slammed into their car.

An additional male adult passenger in the car reportedly suffered injuries and was taken to the hospital by emergency personnel after receiving first assistance.

 

Acceding to the Permanent Secretary (PS) Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), the deceased have been bagged and awaiting pick up by the military and the State Environmental Health Management Unit (SEHMU).

He said the vehicle had been recovered from the road to restore free flow of traffic, adding that the truck was handed over to the Meiran Police Station.
