According to eyewitness accounts, the woman and 3 of her children were killed inside the house, while the infant was later discovered in a well within the compound.

‎A resident of the area, Isiyaka Yakubu, said the community was alerted when a neighbour ran out of the house, raising alarm and calling for help. He explained that the shocking development plunged the entire neighbourhood into mourning and fear.

‎Yakubu, who said he could not identify the perpetrators, described the incident as unprecedented in the area, noting that residents are now living in anxiety over their safety.

‎“This is disturbing and difficult to explain. It happened very early in the morning, and everyone is tense. The neighbour who escaped told us she met the victims lying in pools of blood. It was later discovered that a baby had been thrown into a well inside the compound,” he said.

‎He added that the matter had been reported to the police and expressed hope that security agencies would uncover those responsible for the attack.

‎Security operatives confirmed that investigations have commenced, although the circumstances surrounding the killings remain unclear as of the time of reporting.
