In line with his commitment to environmental sustainability, the Executive Chairman of Lekki Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Engr. Rasaki Bamidele Kasali (MNSE, MNATE), has ordered fumigation operations in Ebute Lekki and Okunraye.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the initiative, which focuses on sanitary treatment and pest control, is part of the council’s ongoing environmental management strategy to promote cleaner and healthier communities.
Kasali emphasized the importance of collective responsibility in maintaining public hygiene.
“This exercise is one of our proactive steps to safeguard the health of our people.

We urge residents, traders, and shop owners to support the council by keeping their surroundings clean and adhering to proper waste disposal practices,” he said.
Traders and shop owners were also advised to cooperate fully with sanitation officials to ensure the success of the operation.
