According to Naija News, PSG’s win means they now have enough points to stay ahead of all other teams, even though six matches are still remaining in the season. Their closest rivals, Monaco, can no longer catch up.
This is PSG’s 13th Ligue 1 title, and it clearly shows their strength and dominance in French football. So far this season, PSG have played 28 matches, winning 23, drawing 5, and losing none. That gives them a total of 74 points—a very impressive record.
The only goal of the match came in the second half, scored by Desire Doue, and it was enough to seal the victory. After the final whistle, PSG players and coaches celebrated with great joy. Head coach Luis Enrique was lifted into the air by his coaching staff, while the players did a lap of honour around the stadium to thank their fans.

Speaking to beIN Sports after the game, PSG captain Marquinhos shared his excitement and said that the team’s goal is to win all competitions this season.
“Our ambition is to win everything,” he said. “It is a very good feeling. This title is the reward for all the hard work we’ve done this season. We’ve been consistent, and the whole team truly deserves it.”
Now that the Ligue 1 title is secure, PSG will turn their full attention to the UEFA Champions League, where they are still competing. Their next challenge is against Aston Villa in the quarterfinals. The first leg will be played at home in Paris on Wednesday, and the second leg will take place in England on April 15.
Fans are hoping PSG can carry their strong form into Europe and win more trophies.
