Oyo State Governor and presidential candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement, Seyi Makinde, is set to inaugurate the party’s presidential and governorship campaign councils in the state on Friday.
Eko Hot Blog gathered that the inauguration is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. at the Conference Room of the Governor’s Office in Ibadan, according to a statement issued on Wednesday by Makinde’s Special Adviser on Media, Sulaimon Olarenwaju.

The statement named the Executive Chairman of the Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board, Nureni Adeniran, as the Oyo State Coordinator of the APM 2027 Presidential Campaign and Director-General of the state Governorship Campaign Council.
Former Chairman of Oyo East Local Government, Saheed Arowosaye, was appointed Deputy State Coordinator of the presidential campaign.
The campaign council also includes the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Demola Ojo, who will serve as Deputy Director-General for the southern senatorial district.
Femi Ojo and Siju Lawal were named Deputy Directors-General for Oyo Central and Oyo North Senatorial Districts respectively.
Other appointments include Ramata Agberemi Dabo as Director of the Women’s Wing and former Special Assistant to the governor on Youth, Kazeem Bolarinwa, as Director of the Youth Wing.
The statement added that more members of the campaign councils would be announced at a later date.
