EKO HOT BLOG reports that security personnel stationed at the facility prevented members of the media from entering the hospital as military authorities maintained tight security around the premises.
Governor Seyi Makinde was, however, granted access to the medical centre to meet with the rescued victims, while journalists and several government officials remained outside awaiting clearance.
Military personnel carried out internal security checks and controlled movement into the hospital, creating a tense atmosphere around the facility.
Despite the presence of journalists and government representatives, the military authorities did not immediately provide an official explanation for restricting media access.
Governor Makinde was the only public official eventually allowed into the hospital to see the rescued pupils and teachers.
The victims were abducted from schools in Oriire Local Government Area and spent nearly two months in captivity before they were rescued by security operatives.
Their release brought relief to families, residents and education stakeholders who had anxiously awaited news of their safety.
The abduction sparked protests by teachers and heightened concerns over the security of schools across Oyo State, prompting the closure of public schools as part of measures introduced to address the situation.
Following their rescue, the pupils and teachers were taken to the military hospital in Ibadan for medical examination, treatment and further assessment before being reunited with their families.

The Oyo State Government has pledged to provide the victims with the necessary medical, psychological and emotional support to aid their recovery after spending 56 days in captivity.
