The draw for the FA Cup quarter-finals has produced a high-profile clash between Manchester City and Liverpool, setting up one of the most anticipated matches of the round.

Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City have already defeated Liverpool twice this season. City secured a 3–0 win at home in November and later recorded a 2–1 victory at Anfield in February.

This will be the first FA Cup encounter between the two clubs since 2022, when Liverpool edged City 3–2 in the semi-final on their way to winning the trophy.
Liverpool, eight-time winners of the competition, reached this stage after beating Wolverhampton Wanderers 3–1 in the fifth round. Manchester City, who have lifted the FA Cup seven times, progressed with a 3–1 win over Newcastle United.
Elsewhere, Arsenal secured their place in the quarter-finals following a 2–1 victory over Mansfield Town. The team managed by Mikel Arteta will now travel to face Southampton, who advanced after a narrow 1–0 win against Fulham.

Meanwhile, Chelsea have been drawn at home against League One side Port Vale. Port Vale reached the quarter-finals after producing a surprise 1–0 victory over Sunderland.
The final quarter-final fixture will feature Leeds United travelling to face the winner of the tie between West Ham United and Brentford.
