Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah has announced a generous reward package for players and officials of Rangers International FC following the club’s successful 2025/2026 Nigeria Premier Football League campaign.
Eko Hot Blog gathered tha the governor revealed that every player in the title-winning squad would receive a plot of land in Enugu, alongside a cash reward of ₦100 million for the team.
He also approved ₦50 million for the club’s management and allocated additional plots of land to key officials, including the general manager, secretary, head coach and assistant coach.

Mbah made the announcement after hosting the team in Enugu, praising the players and officials for bringing pride to the state through their achievement.
He described the club’s league success as a reflection of dedication, hard work and belief, noting that the rewards were a recognition of their outstanding performance throughout the season.
Rangers secured their ninth NPFL title after recording a 2-1 victory over Ikorodu City on the final day of the season. The result saw the Flying Antelopes finish ahead of Rivers United in one of the closest title races in recent league history.
The triumph moved Rangers level with Enyimba FC as the most successful club in NPFL history with nine league crowns.

Both Rangers and Rivers United have qualified to represent Nigeria in next season’s CAF Champions League, while Shooting Stars SC earned a place in the CAF Confederation Cup after finishing third.
The club’s achievement also attracted national recognition, with Bola Tinubu congratulating the team on its success.
The President praised Rangers’ rich football heritage and acknowledged the role the club has played in producing some of Nigeria’s finest football talents over the decades.

He further noted that continued investment in youth development and sporting infrastructure contributed significantly to the club’s latest success.
Rangers’ latest title has further strengthened their status as one of Nigeria’s most decorated football clubs and reaffirmed their place among the country’s football elite.
