- A Facebook user, Siyan Akinsanya, has alleged in a viral video that he witnessed NURTW President Musiliu Akinsanya (MC Oluomo) murdering and burying a pregnant woman in the Oshodi area of Lagos.
- MC Oluomo has vehemently denied the claims, describing them as a plot to incite public unrest, and has petitioned the Deputy Inspector-General of Police (FID) for a full criminal investigation.
- Through his solicitor, MC Oluomo is demanding that the police invite his accuser to lead operatives to the alleged burial site to exhume the corpses and prove the claims.
The President of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo, has officially petitioned the police authorities to investigate what he describes as a “malicious and fabricated” allegation of homicide.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the controversy erupted following a live video broadcast on Facebook by one Siyan Akinsanya.

In the footage, the individual claimed to have witnessed MC Oluomo burying a pregnant woman and her unborn baby for ritual purposes in Oshodi. The accuser further vowed to lead security agents to the exact location where the bodies were purportedly interred.
In a petition dated March 30, 2026, filed through his counsel, Felix Abraham, Esq., MC Oluomo characterized the video as a coordinated attempt by political detractors to tarnish his reputation and incite the public against him.
The petition lists grievances including criminal intimidation, assassination of character, and providing false information to the police.
“Our client is a law-abiding citizen and a youth leader who has recently been the target of forces loyal to his opponents,” the solicitor stated.
The legal team is now calling on the Federal Intelligence Department (FID) to take immediate action.
Rather than simply seeking a takedown of the video, MC Oluomo’s legal team is pushing for a transparent, physical investigation. The petition specifically requests that the police invite Siyan Akinsanya to provide a “guided tour” of the alleged burial site.
“We want the police to conduct a comprehensive investigation by inviting the said Siyan Akinsanya to take operatives to the site and exhume the corpses,” the petition read.

This bold move suggests a strategy of calling the accuser’s bluff in a public and legal forum.
The NURTW leader has faced several social media battles in the recent past, including cases where individuals were arraigned for online “bullying.
However, this latest allegation of ritual murder represents one of the most serious legal and reputational challenges he has faced to date.
