In response to the prolonged electricity crisis at King’s College Main Campus in Lagos, the Minister of Education, Dr. Maruf Tunji Alausa, successfully restored power to the school following his direct intervention, Eko Hot Blog reports.

Taking swift action, Dr. Alausa engaged with the Chairman of Eko Disco, Dr. Tunji Olowolafe, to request urgent intervention.
This collaborative effort ultimately resulted in the full restoration of electricity to the school, according to a statement released by the Director of Press & Public Relations for the Ministry of Education, Boriowo Folasade.
Eko Disco, led by their CEO Mrs. Rekhiat Momoh, Upon receiving the Minister of Education’s request for urgent assistance, initiated immediate testing procedures and assured the full restoration of power to the school.

The statement partly reads: “In a significant breakthrough, at exactly 9:41 PM yesterday 19th of February, electricity was restored to the main campus.
“Confirming this milestone solution the Principal of King’s College, Mr. Magaji Zachariah, expressed gratitude stating To God be all the glory, our main campus light was restored at exactly 9:41 PM today.
“Under Dr. Alausa’s leadership, the Federal Ministry of Education remains resolute in its commitment to ensuring conducive learning environments across all unity schools in Nigeria.
