As part of his yearly tradition, each student also received a bag of rice, a ram, and cash gifts to further support their academic and personal needs.

This support comes on the heels of similar contributions made in the previous year, where Kabiyesi sponsored three blind law students with the same combination of financial and material aid.

In his remarks, Kabiyesi urged the community and society at large to always show compassion and inclusivity towards people living with disabilities.

“These children should be treated with love and as special people,” Kabiyesi said. “Their dreams are valid, and they deserve every opportunity to succeed. I will continue to support them every year, just as I did last year.”
