“For Nigeria, the spirit of Easter resonates strongly with our realities, as we navigate economic pressures and security threats, even as determined measures are producing breakthroughs,” Tinubu said.

He stressed that peace is essential for national progress and reassured citizens living in areas affected by insecurity that government interventions are showing results. Tinubu reaffirmed his commitment to combating terrorism, banditry, and other threats.
Recognizing the sacrifices of the Armed Forces and security personnel, the President said the government is providing resources and building international partnerships to strengthen efforts against criminals.
“Despite the gallant efforts of our men and women in uniform, challenges persist. However, we are equipping security agencies and working with international partners to deliver decisive blows to terrorists and bandits,” he added.
Reflecting on his recent condolence visit to Jos, Plateau State, following the deadly March 29 attacks, Tinubu noted that security leaders have assured him of progress and that international support has been mobilized to reinforce Nigeria’s response.

He called on citizens to support lawful security measures, remain united, and reject forces that threaten peace. “No nation can thrive where fear prevails, and no progress can be sustained without peace,” he said.
During his Jos visit, Tinubu consoled victims’ families, including a mother seen in a viral video clutching her deceased son.
He assured them, “Only God can give you joy and comfort. No amount of money can compensate for your loss, but we will do our utmost to support you.”
The President also emphasized that restoring Jos to its peaceful state remains a top priority, affirming that his administration was elected to deliver peace and prosperity, not merely offer condolences.
