The National Directorate of Employment (NDE) has warned the public to ignore a fake message spreading on social media.
The message falsely claims that the NDE is registering unemployed people for skills acquisition at its offices nationwide. It also wrongly states that the registration will last for three weeks and encourages people to share the information widely.

In a statement, the NDE made it clear that the information is completely false and did not come from the organization.
The statement says:
“The management of the National Directorate of Employment (NDE) has noticed a message circulating on social media asking unemployed persons to register at any NDE office nationwide. It claims the registration will last for three weeks and encourages people to share the message.
“We want to firmly state that this information is fake and not from us.
“We advise the public to ignore the message and not act on it.
“All official announcements or programmes from the NDE are shared only through verified channels like our official website, social media accounts, offices nationwide, and trusted media outlets.
