A new executive council has been inaugurated to lead the National Body of the Federation of Epe Division Students Association (FEDSA), marking a transition in the leadership of the students’ umbrella body across Epe Division.

Eko Hot Blog reports that the inauguration followed the election conducted by the FEDSA National Independent Electoral Commission on January 4, 2026, where Comrade Asorobi Kazeem Damilare secured six votes to defeat Bakre Isreal Boluwatife, who polled four votes, to emerge as National President.
He was subsequently sworn in at the ceremony attended by delegates and stakeholders of the association.
Rt. Hon. Abdullahi Rukayat emerged as the first National Speaker, completing the top leadership framework of the association.
Other members of the executive council include Onoshokun Monsurudeen Abayomi as Vice President; Ariyo Rhoda Opeyemi as General Secretary; Shittu Habeeb Olumuyiwa as Financial Secretary; Bisiriyu Hassan Taiwo as Public Relations Officer;
Ligali Mariam Tejumola as Treasurer; Oresanwo Moridiyat Modupe as Welfare Director; Shabi Maryam Ajoke as Social Director; Ogunbiyi Hafsoh Yewande as Legal Director; Bashorun Hameed as Assistant General Secretary; and Olateju Abdullah as Sport Director.
In his acceptance remarks, President Asorobi thanked members for their confidence and pledged to prioritise unity, effective representation, and programmes that will positively impact students within the division.
With the new administration now in place, attention shifts to the implementation of policies and initiatives aimed at strengthening student engagement and advancing the objectives of FEDSA National.
