The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM) has congratulated Ms. Stella Okuzu on her appointment as Interim Director of the Royal African Society (RAS) in the United Kingdom.
Eko Hot Blog reports that NiDCOM Chairman/CEO, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, described the appointment as a recognition of Okuzu’s professional achievements and contributions to Africa’s development.

Okuzu, Founder and CEO of EDD Finance & Consulting Limited, has more than two decades of experience in banking, finance, consultancy, and education. She previously served as Head of Personal and Business Banking at FCMB (UK) Ltd, Non-Executive Director of FastCredit Limited, and Lecturer in Global Strategy and Sustainability at BPP University, London.

Dabiri-Erewa said Okuzu’s new role at the Royal African Society highlights the impact of Nigerians in the diaspora, noting that many continue to excel and distinguish themselves globally.
She urged other Nigerians abroad to keep breaking barriers and serve as worthy ambassadors of the country.
