The Nigerian Armed Forces have arrested a suspected bandit identified as Sule Yellow, who allegedly used the social media platform TikTok to promote the activities of terrorist groups, Eko Hot Blog reports
According to reports circulating on social media on Monday, the suspect, who operated the TikTok account @suleyellow6, was apprehended shortly after allegedly collecting ransom from the family of a kidnapped victim.

Before his capture, Sule Yellow was reportedly active on TikTok, where he frequently posted videos and livestreams that allegedly showcased the activities of bandits.
On 4 March, he was said to have appeared in a livestream alongside another suspected bandit identified as Auta and other individuals believed to be part of the criminal group.
Sources said intelligence gathered from the suspect’s online presence helped security operatives trace and arrest him.

Following the arrest, authorities reportedly disabled the TikTok account linked to him as part of efforts to curb the online promotion of criminal activities.
The report stated that the suspect was apprehended shortly after receiving ransom payments from the family of a kidnapped victim, marking a significant development in the ongoing crackdown on banditry in the country.
