EKO HOT BLOG reports that Oyedepo made the call during the 40th anniversary thanksgiving service of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), stressing that true leadership, transformation, and progress are rooted in wisdom rather than mere power.
According to him, believers have been endowed with the mind of Christ and possess the divine capacity to generate lasting solutions to the nation’s problems. He emphasized that the church must take the lead in applying heavenly wisdom to address issues in governance, economy, education, and healthcare.
The cleric highlighted the immense contributions of the Christian faith to national development, urging believers to continue playing an active role in shaping a better society. He added that for the church to sustain its impact, it must rely less on human strength and more on divine insight.
“Through wisdom, kings reign and princes decree justice. Jesus is both the wisdom and the power of God,” Oyedepo said. “We have celebrated power long enough; now, it is time to celebrate wisdom. Divine wisdom is our heritage in redemption, and we have the mind of Christ with the capacity to create solutions.”

He further charged Christians to pray for divine guidance in solving life’s challenges and advancing society, adding that wisdom from above remains the key to national restoration. “The Lord will send forth His wisdom into the church to enable it rule and reign across all spheres of life,” he said.
