Presided over by the State Chairman, Chief Yemi Sanusi, the meeting brought together members of the State Executive Committee, ward chairmen, and local government leaders to harmonize the party’s strategy.
In a communiqué issued by the Publicity Secretary, Femi Nubi, the party stated that no person or group is permitted to vet aspirants until the state organ releases official guidelines.
This move is seen as an effort to prevent internal friction and maintain a level playing field across the state’s 20 local government areas.
Financial transparency was another focal point of the gathering. Chief Sanusi warned ward and local government chairmen that the funds recently disbursed to them are exclusively for party activities and must not be used for personal purposes.

“The funds are strictly designated for the hosting of party meetings and must not be diverted,” Sanusi emphasized, signaling that the party leadership will be monitoring the management of these resources closely.
As the meeting concluded, stakeholders reaffirmed their support for Governor Dapo Abiodun’s administration and pledged to redouble mobilization efforts.
The party also announced that modalities for the collection of nomination forms would be released soon, following the reviewed timetable from the national headquarters.
With the e-registration of members now complete, the Ogun APC appears focused on building a disciplined and unified front well ahead of the 2027 polls.
