EKO HOT BLOG reports that the event, tagged “Meet and Greet with the Spokesman,” was aimed at strengthening coordination between the Presidency and grassroots mobilization networks ahead of the 2027 elections.
According to Bwala, President Tinubu’s policy reforms and development strides over the past two years have restored confidence in Nigeria’s economy and governance system, making his re-election bid certain. He explained that the meeting was organized to connect with the various support groups, appreciate their contributions, and encourage them to continue promoting the achievements of the current administration.
“We thought that as part of the strategy to spread the gains of this administration, it is good we connect with the source, the support groups, engage with them, appreciate them for what they have been doing, and then ask them to do more for the love of the country and for the love of the President,” Bwala said.
He added, “No politician in Nigeria today has the capacity to challenge President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. We are moving from renewed hope to recovery, and that recovery must be felt in the lives of ordinary Nigerians.”
The event was attended by leaders of several support organizations, including representatives from all six geopolitical zones and delegates who traveled from the United Kingdom. Bwala clarified that the engagement was not a campaign event but a platform to strengthen synergy between the government and its grassroots partners.
“People often wait until election time to look for support groups, but that is not the right way to do it. They are not tools to be used; they are partners in the process. They must be part of what the government is doing,” he stated.
Bwala also announced that similar town hall meetings would soon be held in the United Kingdom, the United States, and Canada to engage Nigerians in the diaspora and sustain public enlightenment about the Tinubu administration’s progress.

He further disclosed that the Presidency plans to hold its first major “Progressives’ Town Hall” in November, where all registered support groups will meet to review their strategies and evaluate the government’s performance.
