One Year After: Nollywood Plans Memorial Service for Jnr Pope, Boat Mishap Victims

The Delta State chapter of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) has announced plans to hold a memorial service and novelty march in honor of Jnr Pope and four others who lost their lives in the Anam River boat mishap on April 10, 2024.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that a source confirmed that a planning committee has been set up to oversee the event, which will mark the one-year anniversary of the tragedy.

The memorial service is scheduled to take place at a Catholic Church in Asaba, Delta State.
Meanwhile, Pastor Joseph Lazarus, father of the late Sound Engineer, Olanti, has accused film producer Adanma Luke of abandoning his family after his son’s death. He lamented that his son, whom he described as the family’s breadwinner, has left a huge void, and since his passing, he has been struggling to pay rent.
Pastor Lazarus, the Senior Pastor of God’s Salvation Miracle Centre, Asaba, revealed that after the tragedy, Adanma Luke transferred only N300,000 to his account and has since failed to visit or send any message of condolence.
