The security crisis erupted after armed bandits executed synchronized raids on three academic institutions in the Ahoro-Esiele axis around 9:30 a.m.
The affected schools were identified as Baptist Nursery and Primary School in Yawota, alongside Community Grammar School and L.A. Primary School in Esiele.
Official updates confirm that the invaders abducted a total of seven secondary students, 18 primary pupils, and seven teachers, including the school principal, Rachael Alamu.
