EKO HOT BLOG reports that the news was officially announced by Galatasaray on Thursday via their X (formerly Twitter) handle, bringing an end to the long-running transfer saga involving the 26-year-old striker and Napoli.
Osimhen signed a four-year deal with the Istanbul-based side and is set to earn €15 million annually, excluding bonuses. He will also pocket an extra €1 million annually as a loyalty reward and €5 million for his image rights, bringing the total potential value of the deal even higher.

Osimhen joins Galatasaray
According to financial details released by Galatasaray, €40 million of the fee will be paid to Napoli upfront, with the balance of €35 million spread over the next 12 months. Napoli also secured a 10 percent sell-on clause, meaning they will receive a share of any future profit made from Osimhen’s next sale.
However, the Nigerian is barred from returning to any Serie A club for the next two seasons, a condition likely inserted by Napoli’s Aurelio De Laurentiis as part of the agreement.
Osimhen’s switch comes after a turbulent final year at Napoli, where he was frozen out of the squad following a breakdown in relations with the club’s management. The Nigerian striker had previously helped the Italian side to a historic Serie A title in 2023, ending a 33-year wait.
His successful loan spell at Galatasaray last season where he bagged 37 goals and supplied 8 assists in 41 appearances convinced the Turkish champions to secure his services permanently.

As at the time of filing this report, Osimhen is yet to speak publicly. Meanwhile, sources close to the player say he is excited to continue with the club where he rediscovered his form.
Osimhen will be expected to lead the line once again for Galatasaray as they prepare for a challenging campaign on multiple fronts, including the Turkish Super Lig title defence and the UEFA Champions League group stages.
