The directives were delivered on Sunday by a Federal Government delegation that visited affected communities in Esiele and Yawota.
The team informed local leaders that requests for the establishment of a military formation in the area had been forwarded to the President for consideration.
The delegation, led by Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila, included National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, Inspector-General of Police Kayode Egbetokun, Chief of Defence Staff Christopher Musa, and presidential media aide Sunday Dare.

Speaking with residents, Gbajabiamila said the President remained deeply concerned about the fate of the victims and had ordered security agencies to deploy all necessary resources to secure their safe return.
He assured community members that ongoing rescue efforts would be guided by intelligence and carefully coordinated strategies designed to protect the lives of those in captivity.
The presidential team also paid a condolence visit to the palace of the Soun of Ogbomoso, Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye, and later met with the family of slain teacher Michael Oyedokun, conveying the President’s sympathy and support.

According to the delegation, the newly approved forest guards will be recruited in partnership with the Oyo State Government to improve surveillance and security across vulnerable communities.
The school abductions occurred on May 15 when armed attackers stormed three educational institutions in Oriire LGA, taking pupils and teachers hostage.
The incident also claimed several lives, including that of a teacher, while security operations in the aftermath recorded additional casualties.
Authorities believe the kidnappers have been operating from the dense forest corridor surrounding the affected communities, prompting renewed efforts to strengthen security presence in the area.
