President Bola Tinubu on Monday reunited with a longtime friend, Alex Sigman, a Belarusian businessman and former classmate from Chicago State University, during a tractor commissioning ceremony in Abuja.
Eko Hot Blog reports that Tinubu recalled that Sigman had been his neighbor during his time as a student in the United States, noting that neither of them imagined they would one day meet again under such circumstances.

Recognizing Sigman publicly at the event, the President described him as a successful entrepreneur and remarked that their alma mater would take pride in witnessing such a meaningful reunion.
“My dear very good friend, the story must be clear here. Alex Sigman, howe are you. Thank you and congratulation. When we were together at Chicago State University, he was my very good neighbour.

“Neither did we preempt that I will be the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, nor did we see Sigman as a successful businessman willing to bring a bilateral relationship that will promote economic prosperity that will benefit our two countries.
“Thank you Alex, I believe our university will be proud of us today.”
