Aremu accused the current administration of holding the state “in bondage,” adding that APC youths are determined to lead the political shift Oyo deserves. He declared that the ruling party should prepare for its exit, as young progressives are ready to take charge.

He noted that the recent reconciliation between Senator Teslim Folarin and the Minister of Power, Chief Adebayo Adelabu, signals renewed unity within the APC, which he believes strengthens the party’s road to victory in 2027.
Ahead of the upcoming APC Youth Summit, Aremu explained that the gathering would focus on rebuilding party structures, mobilizing grassroots support, and aligning young members behind a common progressive vision. He said the theme of unity would drive discussions across all local governments and interest groups.

The summit will also unveil a youth-led strategic roadmap centered on digital advocacy, political mobilisation, community impact projects, and issue-based campaigns targeted at reclaiming the state.
Aremu emphasized that the future of Oyo must be planned now, adding that the APC youth wing is fully prepared to lead that transformation.
He concluded by stressing that discipline and loyalty remain the pillars of progressive politics, and that responsible leadership will guide the party’s youth structure moving into 2027.
