Following his victory, Obi expressed his gratitude to the people of Delta state for their support, promising to work tirelessly to deliver on his campaign promises.
Obi’s victory in Delta state is part of a wider trend of LP candidates performing well in the presidential election. The party has gained significant support from Nigerians who are dissatisfied with the performance of the ruling APC and the main opposition PDP. The LP’s success is seen as a sign of a growing appetite for political change in Nigeria.
